The 2006 FotoFest biennal with the « Artists Responding to Violence » was also the title of the event’s central group exhibition. The eleven international photographers in this show fell into two camps: those who remain at least partially aligned with the premises of photojournalistic objectivity, and those who introduce subjective response.
